Ace music government and CEO of Mavin Data, Don Jazzy, has revealed that he doesn’t enable his artistes to launch songs or tasks on the identical day as Wizkid or Asake.
In a podcast interview with Fisayo Fosudo, Jazzy mentioned releasing music on the identical day because the duo was suicidal.
Wizkid and Asake are among the many most profitable artists in Nigeria on this streaming period.
Don Jazzy mentioned: “We (Mavin) are shifting from the normal Friday launch date to Wednesdays and Thursdays as a result of there are not any extra Fridays [without another artist dropping a song].
“If my artiste is to drop a track or challenge on a Friday and Wizkid or Asake can also be releasing that day, I’ll transfer our launch date since you don’t need to simply die a pure loss of life.”
