Nigeria’s chief, President Bola Tinubu has been re-elected for a second one-year time period as Chairman of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Authorities.
The unanimous determination was made by Tinubu’s counterparts through the sixty fifth Bizarre Session of the Authority, held on the State Home in Abuja on Sunday.
Tinubu’s first tenure is about to conclude on July 9, 2024.
In his acceptance speech, President Tinubu remarked, “I’ve accepted to proceed to ship on this service with the good women and men on this democratic journey, to serve our curiosity and construct democratic values on the construction we inherited.”
