Shito sauce, a fiery black pepper condiment, is a cornerstone of Ghanaian delicacies. Made primarily with vegetable oil, ginger, dried seafood, dried fish, garlic, peppers, and spices, it provides a spicy kick to any dish.

On this video, Telande World places a singular twist on this beloved custom with a recipe handed down from her mom. She makes Guinea Fowl Shito – a pleasant “hybrid” between a wealthy stew and conventional Shito.

With opening notes of ginger and spices and sufficient tomatoes to evoke a waakye with a stew and Shito combo, it completely balances spicy and savoury notes.
