Cross River State governor, Bassey Otu, has expressed approval of the Supreme Courtroom’s ruling on monetary autonomy for local governments within the nation, stating that it has been acquired in good religion.
Governor Otu disclosed this to State Home correspondents in Abuja on Thursday following a gathering with President Bola Tinubu on the Presidential Villa.
Governor Otu emphasised the significance of the judgement for all Nigerians, noting that, “Nigeria is a democratic nation, and we all know very properly that President Tinubu and the Renewed Hope Agenda is a democratic one. I imagine that the judgement is taken in excellent religion. All Nigerians must be joyful about it.”
