President Bola Tinubu is at present in one other closed-door assembly with Vice President Kashim Shettima and a few governors in his workplace on the State Home, Abuja, on Thursday.
The continued assembly kicked off virtually instantly after the President concluded discussions with the leaders of the Organised Labour, who met with him to debate points across the anticipated new nationwide minimal wage.
The governors within the assembly included the chairman of the Nigerian Governors Discussion board (NGF), AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara; Charles Soludo of Anambra; and Usman Ododo of Kogi.
Though the agenda of the continuing assembly couldn’t be ascertained as on the time of submitting this report, it was important to notice that it’s coming few hours after the Supreme Courtroom had delivered a landmark judgement on the monetary independence of the third tier of the federation, the native authorities.
