Following the Federal Excessive Courtroom, Abuja judgement that faulted the impeachment of the erstwhile deputy governor, Philip Shaibu, the Edo State authorities has filed a keep of its execution.
The commissioner for orientation and communication, Hon Chris Nehikhare, stated Omobayo stays the deputy governor.
He stated, “Pending the attraction listening to, Omobayo stays and continues to function the legitimate deputy governor of Edo State.”
The commissioner stated he’ll proceed serving in that capability and be recognised as such.
