Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin has expressed optimism that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will assent to the North West Improvement Fee (NWDC) Invoice, which goals to handle the challenges dealing with the geopolitical zone.

Already, the Nationwide Meeting is ready to transmit the invoice to President Tinubu for his assent.

Barau mentioned the invoice he sponsored is prepared for transmission to the presidency for assent, as each chambers of the Nationwide Meeting have handed it.

In an announcement by his media aide, Ismail Mudashir, Senator Barau mentioned that the passage of the invoice by the parliament aligns with Tinubu’s dedication to remodel the nation and return it to the trail of progress and prosperity.

The institution of the North West Improvement Fee (NWDC) goals to handle the challenges dealing with the seven states within the geopolitical zone (Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Kebbi, Jigawa, Sokoto, and Zamfara) and the nation as an entire.

Describing the North West because the nation‘s meals basket, Senator Barau highlighted that the fee will work in direction of the restoration of infrastructure destroyed by Boko Haram insurgents and bandits within the area.

Barau expressed his appreciation to the President of the Senate, the Speaker of the Home of Representatives, and his esteemed colleagues at each chambers for supporting the invoice’s passage.

The lawmaker emphasised the significance of the fee in addressing challenges within the area and the whole nation.

He expressed his optimism that the invoice will likely be transmitted to Tinubu quickly for assent, expressing confidence within the president’s dedication to the nation’s transformation as outlined within the Renewed Hope Agenda.
