The Nigerian army, on Thursday, handed over 277 girls and kids rescued from Boko Haram terrorists in three native authorities areas of Borno State to the State authorities.
Handing over the rescued captives, who comprised 128 girls and 149 kids to the State’s Commissioner of Girls Affairs and Social Growth, Hajiya Zuwaira Gambo, at Maimalari Cantonment in Maiduguri, the Theatre Commander of ‘Operation Hadin Kai’, Maj. Gen. Shuaibu Waidi, stated the victims had been rescued throughout the Navy operations at Bama, Dikwa and Monguno native authorities areas of the state.
