The Kwara State Home of Meeting yesterday authorised the supplementary funds of N509, 889,985,435.90 for the state authorities.
The unique state’s 2024 funds of N292, 741,292,132. 30 has thus been jerked up by 217, 180,693,303.
The funds was thought-about and authorised by the Committee of Provide throughout yesterday’s plenary.
Whereas laying the report, the chairperson of the Home Committee on Finance and Appropriation, Hon. Arinola Lawal, defined that the funds can be used for capital tasks and the completion of ongoing and new infrastructures throughout the state.
Lawal, nevertheless, urged her colleagues to help the passage of the funds for the event of the state.
The speaker of the Home, Engr Yakubu Danladi-Salihu thereafter introduced the passage of the supplementary appropriation funds after nearly all of the lawmakers supported it by means of a voice vote.
