The Kano State Commissioner of Larger Schooling, Yusuf Kofar-Mata, has misplaced three members of his household to a home fireplace.
The devastating information was introduced on the commissioner’s official Fb account on Wednesday, July 17.
The deceased embrace his daughter, Maimuna; his elder sister, Khadija; and his brother’s spouse, Juwairiyya.
The fireplace reportedly engulfed the commissioner’s residence within the Kofar-Mata space of Kano within the early hours of Wednesday whereas the household was asleep.
A supply near the household disclosed that the inferno destroyed a number of valuables. The spokesperson for the state fireplace service, Abdullahi Saminu, reported that the reason for the hearth and the extent of the harm couldn’t be instantly decided.
Expressing his profound sorrow, Kofar-Mata wrote:
“Unto Allah we got here and to him we will return. I mourn the lack of my daughter Maimuna (Islam), my senior [elder] sister, Hajiya Khadija, and my brother’s spouse, Juwairiyya, who all perished within the fireplace accident this morning.
“Their funeral prayers might be performed at 11 am at Kofar-Mata quarters, Kano Metropolis right this moment (Wednesday).”
