Senator Shehu Buba Umar representing Bauchi South within the Senate on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has reacted to the withdrawal of his chieftaincy title of ‘Mujaddadin Bauchi’ by the Bauchi Emirate Council for allegedly disrespecting the state governor, Bala Mohammed.

In a letter addressed to the Emir of Bauchi, the Senate Committee chairman on Nationwide Safety and Intelligence, expressed his shock on the resolution of the Emirate Council, advising the Council to withstand any try by political actors to tug it into the political enviornment, serving their egocentric pursuits.
