A hearth outbreak has destroyed a portion of the Kofar Kudu palace occupied by the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II. The incident occurred round 11:00pm on Friday.
Chief of etaff to the emir, Munir Sanusi Bayero, Dan Buram Kano, confirmed the incident in an announcement.
He mentioned, “On Saturday morning, July thirteenth, 2024, a hearth incident occurred on the outer courtroom of His Highness’s Palace, Kofar Kudu. Thankfully, there have been no casualties, and the harm was minimal,” he mentioned.
