Gunmen on Tuesday killed a younger man at Orji in Owerri North, native authorities space of Imo State.
This incident by the way occurred twenty-four hours after 4 cops and a point-of-sale operator have been killed in Irete, Owerri West LGA of the state.
The gunmen, who shot sporadically into the air whereas heading to Owerri-Enugu Street, additionally burned the Imo State Authorities Waste Administration Company car at Nkwo Orji Market in Owerri North, native authorities space.
When LEADERSHIP visited Nkwo Orji market, the car was already in flames.
Eyewitness accounts revealed that the gunmen have been shouting, “Keep in your houses. Don’t come out in the course of the sit-at-home when you worth your lives.”

In his response, the Police Public Relations Officer, Henry Okoye, burdened that police operatives have been massively deployed to Orji.
