JUST-IN: Gunmen Kidnap 20 UNIJOS, UNIMAID Medical College students In Benue

Armed males suspected to be kidnappers have kidnapped 20 Medical and Dental college students from two universities alongside a Home Officer in Benue State.
Our correspondent gathered that the scholars have been going for the Federation of Catholic Medical and Dental College students (FECAMDS) annual conference in Enugu State when the incident occurred on Thursday night.
It was additional gathered that the victims have been eight college students of the College of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) and 12 from College of Jos (UNIJOS), who have been travelling collectively, and have been ambushed by the gunmen round 5:30pm in Otukpo native authorities space of Benue State enroute Enugu.
When contacted, the Benue State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Catherine Anene, who confirmed the incident by way of a phone dialog with our correspondent, mentioned “incident confirmed however I don’t have particulars of their quantity but.”
In accordance with the PPRO, investigation was ongoing.
