D’banj has returned with a bang, dropping a brand new album “The Entertainer: The Sequel.” Previous to the album’s launch, followers have been handled to 3 singles—“04,” “Koko” and “Worthy”—which set the stage for this new mission.
As a follow-up to his 2008 album “The Entertainer,” the album delivers a masterful mix of Afrobeats and Afropop throughout 11 tracks, with two unique bonus cuts.
It boasts a star-studded lineup that crosses continents, that includes collaborations with Grammy-winning Wyclef Jean, African music icons Awilo Logomba and Youssou N’Dour, international celebrity Akon, South African sensation DJ Maphorisa, and ‘The Voice’ star Chechi Sarai. D’banj additionally groups up with a few of Nigeria’s most interesting, together with Timaya, Peruzzi, Kayswitch, and Zlatan.
