The Minister of Info and Nationwide Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, has welcomed the discharge of two Kaduna-based journalists who have been kidnapped from their properties within the outskirts of Kaduna final weekend.
Talking when he obtained the 2 journalists, AbdulGafar Alabelewe of The Nation newspapers and AbdulRaheem Aodu of Blueprint newspapers, from the Nationwide Safety Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, on Sunday, the minister recommended safety businesses for the speedy rescue of the victims.
The 2 journalists have been launched together with Mr Alabelewe’s spouse and two youngsters.
Mohammed expressed sympathy to the 2 households.

Talking earlier, the NSA stated the 5 victims have been rescued following mixed effort of safety businesses, which led to swift search and rescue operation.
Responding, one of many rescued victims, Mr Alabelewe thanked the NSA and his crew for the swift intervention.
