Some Bauchi State Home of Meeting aspirants underneath the aegis of ‘Bauchi State Meeting Aspirants Discussion board’ have praised Senator Shehu Buba, representing Bauchi South, for his efforts in reconciling aggrieved members of the APC and facilitating the return of those that defected to different events over the past elections.
At a press convention, chairman of the discussion board, Hon. Aliyu Songuy, flanked by different members who rejoined the APC, counseled Senator Buba’s management which he stated led to their return to the celebration after they left because of grievances throughout the 2023 elections.
He stated though Buba represents Bauchi south, he carries all celebration members throughout the state alongside in his empowerment efforts to unify them and revitalise the celebration.
Songuy, who additionally left the APC to hitch the SDP and contested for a state meeting seat within the 2023 election, acknowledged that many aspirants had felt short-changed throughout the primaries and had defected to the PRP and NNPP.
