Governor of Ondo State, Hon Fortunate Aiyedatiwa has accepted the fee of bursaries and scholarships to the scholars of the state origin in tertiary establishments and the Nigerian Legislation Faculties.
The Governor made the disclosure whereas addressing a college students’ stakeholders assembly held on the Cocoa Convention Corridor of the Governor’s Workplace in Akure, the state’s capital.
Stakeholders on the assembly embody leaders of the Nationwide Affiliation of Nigerian College students (NANS), Nationwide Affiliation of College College students (NAUS), Nationwide Affiliation of Ondo State College students (NAOSS), Nationwide Feminine College students Affiliation and indigenous pupil associations within the state.
Responding to among the requests by the scholar leaders, Governor Aiyedatiwa mentioned the method for the fee of the bursaries and scholarships had begun, and can be accomplished in a number of weeks to start disbursement.
Different points addressed by the Governor included provision of buses for pupil our bodies, enhancement of electrical energy provide and safety on campuses, employment alternatives and polling items on campuses.

Earlier, in a unified message, President of NAOSS, Hammed Oyelade; Ondo State Chapter of NANS, represented by Abiola Victor; consultant of NAUS, Akerele Greatness; presidents of the Scholar Union Authorities from all tertiary establishments within the State, represented by Adegoriola Abejoye; and Babatunde Excel, pledged their help for Governor Aiyedatiwa.
The scholar leaders additionally assured that college students in Ondo State won’t partake within the deliberate August 1 protests within the state.
