A former member of the Home of Representatives, Hon. Israel Sunny-Goli, has responded to the decision by Chief Michael Johnny on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to not renew the tenure of the managing director of Niger Delta Improvement Fee (NDDC), Dr. Samuel Ogbuku.
Johnny, the Agadiwei of Gbaramatu Kingdom in Delta State, cited malfeasance, maladministration and politicisation of the fee beneath the present management of the company as the rationale for his name.
Bu in a press release in Yenagoa yesterday, Sunny-Goli described Chief Johnny as an consideration seeker whose views clearly contradict these of the great individuals of the Niger Delta area. He stated there was a consensus opinion within the area that Dr. Ogbuku is one of the best factor to occur to the NDDC since its inception.
