The Delta State authorities has accepted using the Central Hospital Agbor, the Advance Diagnostic and the Trauma Centres in Agbor, as instructing centres for college students within the medical discipline.
The vice chancellor of College of Delta, (UNIDEL), Agbor, Prof Stella Chiemeke disclosed this when she performed host to the Zonal Medical Director of Agbor Zone and a guide gynaecologist, Dr Stanley Nnoli.
Chiemeke said that using the centres which have world class amenities and tools will begin in September, 2024, for the 2024/2025 tutorial session.
She recommended Nnoli for his contributions in the direction of the resourcing of the medical science and guaranteed him of continued partnership and synergy.
Earlier, Nnoli stated he was in UNIDEL to congratulate the vice chancellor on her appointment and to understand the administration crew for the great development that the establishment had witnessed inside a brief time frame.
“The development we’ve seen in the present day is wonderful. We salute your visionary management. Our doorways are broadly open within the Central Hospital, Agbor and we will at all times give your industrial coaching college students and researchers particular consideration,” he stated.
Nnoli was accompanied by Mrs Uweh Julie, Zonal Hospital Administrator, Agbor Zone, Mrs Egboh, Zonal Hospital Matron Agbor Zone and Mrs Aminu Christabel Elue, the Zonal Public Relations Officer, Agbor Zone.
The delegation was obtained by the registrar, Barr Richmond Omagbemi, the bursar, Mr Sunny Ikeogwu and the librarian, Dr Vera Okonoko.
