The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has mentioned it has not suspended or halted Arik Air’s flight operations, which continued as scheduled.

It acknowledged that the suspension earlier introduced didn’t have an effect on the airline’s means to function its remaining fleet.

That is contained in a press release signed by Michael Achimugu, the NCAA Director of Public Affairs and Shopper Safety, on Friday in Abuja.

Based on Achimugu, the NCAA is duty-bound to adjust to the courtroom order attaching Arik Air’s plane (5NMJF, 5NMJQ, and 5NBKX) following the willpower of its case on the Supreme Courtroom and to make sure compliance with regulatory and security requirements.

“Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) refers back to the grounding of three (3) Arik Air plane following a courtroom order or attachment.

“It is very important make clear that the motion doesn’t embody the suspension of Arik Air’s total operations by both the NCAA or the Federal Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Improvement, as claimed in some quarters.

“We respect the general public’s understanding and endurance as Arik Air works by means of this case with minimal disruption,” it mentioned.
