A small variety of decided demonstrators on Saturday returned to the Kano streets, defying a curfew imposed by Governor Yusuf on Thursday.

The protesters, brandishing placards, gathered at Mandawari, Kofar Kwaru, and elements of the Nasarawa space of Kano State, chanting, “We might somewhat be killed by a bullet than killed by starvation.”

The #EndBadGovernance protests to demand good governance and improved economic system entered the third day on Saturday.

The protest which started peacefully on Thursday turned violent at Sani Mainage, the place unruly components made bonfire and blocked main streets.
