The Presidency has reaffirmed the President Bola Tinubu administration’s dedication to upholding residents’ rights to peaceable protest.
Presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, whereas talking on a programme on TVC on Sunday evening monitored by our correspondent, emphasised that no official inside the present administration has the authority to stop Nigerians from exercising their proper to exhibit peacefully in any a part of the nation.
“There’s no person inside our administration that has the standing or command to inform any Nigerian that they’ll’t peacefully protest or in any a part of the nation,” the Presidential spokesman declared.
He additional added, “We’re in workplace to serve, not dominate our individuals.”
