Rampaging hoodlums have killed one individual and kidnapped three others in Anambra State.

The criminals who carried out the operations at completely different components of the state on Saturday at about 8 pm killed a petroleum station attendant at St. Michael’s Secondary Faculty junction, Nimo, Njikoka LGA. The hoodlums had thereafter kidnapped and brought away the patrol station boss when he was driving in his SUV automobile.

Ikenga stated: “The Commissioner of Police Anambra State, CP Nnaghe Obono Itam states that efforts are ongoing to arrest the assailants and rescue the victims of the kidnapping.

“The incident occurred by 2pm on 13/7/2024 and was captured in a video alongside Ifite – Amansea street, Awka. The police responding crew recovered the deserted sufferer’s automobile, and joint safety measures/personnel positioning are already in place to forestall such/associated incidents within the State.

“Police responding crew recovered the victims’ automobiles and has emplaced Joint Safety Measures/Operational positioning to forestall such or associated incident within the state,” Ikenga stated additional.
