Outstanding dancehall artist, Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie a.ok.a Patoranking opens up on his humble beginnings hawking on the streets of Lagos together with his father.
He revealed regardless of rising up within the Ebute Metta slum, he remained decided and persevered by way of adversity, finally reaching his dreams.
Patoranking made these remarks whereas accepting his appointment because the UNDP Goodwill Ambassador for Youth Innovation, Enterprise, and the Sustainable Improvement Objectives (SDGs) in Africa.
He stated …
“I hawked on the streets of Lagos with my father. A few years in the past, I used to promote on this road [Kings Way road]. It was once a highly regarded spot for buying and selling. A few years after, the whole lot that I pictured I wished to turn into, the person I wished to turn into is who I’m now. So after I was driving right down to this place it was a little bit bit teary second for me as a result of I noticed myself [on this road].”
He additionally inspired younger folks to make the most of their abilities for the betterment of their communities and the African continent as an entire.
